PRE-LAUNCH TICKETS INFORMATION
A booking confirmation will be emailed within 24 hours of booking. Tickets and detailed itinerary for tour packages, which includes final timings and seat numbers, will be emailed to passengers, approximately 5-7 days prior to the travel.
If you have not received your tickets 07 days before your journey please contact us via Global Call Centre or email us at info@greatleisurerail.com.my.
MEAL SERVICE
We offer a range of meal service and refreshment served on our trains. Specific details are displayed within the itinerary for each individual tour.
RESTAURANT COACH
The on-train catering team will endeavor to provide traditional local delicacies and premium range of hot and cold beverages and light snacks to purchase on board the train at the Buffet Coach.
Passengers are not allowed to bring their own food and drinks on board.
All items on sale are subject to availability.
LOCOMOTIVES
Locomotives for upcoming tours provided by Great Leisure Heritage Rail fleet based at Kuala Lumpur Railway Station. The steam locomotive trips are scheduled to be steam hauled all the way from Kuala Lumpur Railway Station to Butterworth Station, Penang.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Whilst on board the train, you remain responsible for all your personal belongings and must be attended at all times. Each carriage comes with luggage rack areas. All luggage must be stored safely in these areas.
Please do not leave luggage or personal belongings in the aisle or door entrances as this will cause an obstruction and lead to movement restriction in the train. Please do not leave personal belongings and valuables on board once reached your destination.
The train is locked after passengers alight at the destination and goes to local siding/depot for the maintenance. Hence, Great Leisure Heritage Rail is not liable for damages or lost of items on board and those left behind at all times.
Travelers encourage to purchase additional travel insurances.
